I need to share with you something...my husband and I signed up because we are really looking for different ways to get involved in exercise other than our usual routine and it was a good cause so the two things went together. We are also trying to demonstrate to our 12 year old daughter that was there with us that there are many ways you can incorporate exercise into your daily life. Once we were standing there and listening to all the stories we realized there was a bigger purpose for us being there. You stand around and you look at the person next to you and they look "normal" and you would never think of the story that is going to come out of their mouths. The things people have been through (mostly traumas) shapes who they are today. We may never know why something evil happens to one person vs another but what someone has meant for evil this organization has turned to good. Thank you for exposing this organization to us and making us more aware of what is right around us.

As someone who has done huge special events in the past, I can appreciate
the enormity of this event, and you deserve a 15 minute standing ovation!
Even with the rain, it was a "happening" and moving experience. We are all
very grateful for your efforts and proud to give you support.
Thanks again, and again, congratulations for a job well done. For sure we
will be on board next time.
Warm regards,
Esther |
